Purpose: The Yellow Jacket Legacy Awards & Recognition Gala is Olive Hill CEDC’s annual signature event honoring individuals, organizations, and partners who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, service, and commitment to advancing economic mobility and community stability across Western North Carolina.

This celebratory evening recognizes “Hidden Gems” whose contributions strengthen families, neighborhoods, and opportunity pathways, while also serving as a critical fundraising event to support Olive Hill CEDC’s year-round housing counseling, financial literacy, youth enrichment, and small business development programs.
