Olive HIll Community Economic Development Corporation proposes the following in recognition and honor of the Bouchelle/EAST Union St. past Black history.

The goal is to enhance the corner lot with honoring murals, satures, etc. of the Black community once their bustiling thriving area and the epi-center of the 60's Civil Rights movement. Not only would this be honoring, but also stimulates positive conversation around today's racial & social justice issues.

Olice Hill CEDC is the lead contact organizing committee of interested supporters of the project.

UNE19TEENTH, 2022 The community park & mural art design concept contest opens to the public for submissions through August 1st, 2022 at which time a panel of judges will be chosen to select the submission that best represents the Unity Theme. Painting will begin within 45 days thereafter.
