Call for Muralists

UNITY CORNER CONCEPT

THEME: UMOJA - Unity * Community * Strength

OHCEDC proposes to create a Unity Corner Mural & Park in recognition & honor of the Bouchelle/East Union Street (Morganton, NC) past Black History.

​

We are asking all muralists and artists to submit an application expressing their desire to lead this project contributing to the beautification of our city. We hope to instill pride and honor to our residents through this mural.

Please fill out the short application below and share your portfolio with us. A selection committee will choose the design that best represents the theme.

 

As a muralist/artist, you will have creative control after being given direction on the type of imagery desired; assistance with securing equipment and materials; access to volunteers from the community.  Please include your pricing per square foot (12' x 20').
